A TEENAGED girl pointed a gun at a women sitting on a bench in Wellington Square, Minehead, last Friday night. The armed teenager, one of two girls walking together, had an altercation with the 26-year-old woman before the gun was produced. The woman was threatened with the weapon, a black automatic-style handgun, but she challenged the girls who both then ran off. The incident happened at about 10.15pm and police are appealing for witnesses to contact Minehead police station on 0845 4567000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
