WATCHET Blue Waves climbed to third place in Division Three with a 4-2 win away to bottom side East Reach Wanderers on Sunday.
They leapfrogged over Yates who dropped from second spot to fourth after a 10-2 drubbing at the hands of Bishops Lydeard.
In Division Four, all three local sides in action lost.
Periton Rangers' loss of form continued with a 3-1 defeat away to second-placed Kings Park Rangers, Bagborough Rovers went down 3-2 away to Ash Rangers and bottom club Carhampton Rovers crashed 11-1 away to Old Boys.
In Division Five, Dunster returned home the winners by the odd goal in an entertaining nine-goal thriller against Weavers Wanderers.
Williton Rockets went down 6-1 at home to Swallowfield and Milverton Reserves lost 3-0 at home to Old Inn.
