BRITANNIA Inn were unlucky losers in a remarkable Division One game at home to second-placed Spartans.
With goals flying in at both ends, they led for much of the match before finishing 8-7 losers in a 15-goal thriller.
Milverton were on the receiving end of an 8-0 thrashing away to champions Staplegrove.
In Division Two, Wiveliscombe went down 5-1 away to Blackbrook.
Division Three saw Watchet Blue Waves score an impressive 8-1 home win over East Reach Wanderers.
But there were heavy defeats for fellow Watchet side West Somerset Wanderers - 8-1 away to leaders Black Horse - and Cross Farm Park Celtic - 11-2 away to third-placed Eagle Taverners.
Another side on the end of a heavy beating were Williton Rockets, who lost 10-0 at home to Royal Stoke in Division Four.
Newcomers Carhampton continued to struggle in Division Five, losing 15-0 at home to Spartan Colts, and Dunster tumbled 9-1 away to Millers 2K.
But Periton Rangers, enjoying their best-ever season, notched up another draw, 1-1 away to Full Moon Vulcans.
They were much the stronger side but paid the price for being without their two main strikers.
A one-sided first half saw Periton have virtually all the possession and they went ahead midway through when a well-worked move set up a simple tap-in.
After the break, Rangers strengthened their midfield and created a lot more chances but their finishing let them down.
The home side pulled level from the penalty spot after a tenacious tackle by player-manager Richard Cross was ruled a foul despite him clearly taking the ball.
At the other end, Eric Ruddy, who had the better of his man all game, set up Nick Richards to beat two men and slot the ball home, but Rangers were left fuming as the referee ruled it out, a hotly-disputed decision.
In the last five minutes, only dogged defending from Ian Towells prevented Vulcans from scoring again, and Periton came away convinced they had been denied a deserved three points.
