A professional drummer recently visited a local college as part of a workshop.

Ken Hollick has been a professional drummer for almost 50 years, having worked with many famous bands as well as the BBC.

He has also performed at prestigious venues such as Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.

Mr Hollick recently visited Yeovil College to tell entry level students about his career.

Course manager Will Antell said: "The students warmed to Ken's tour of his drum kit. His tales of escapades with famous jazz musicians including Spike Milligan and George Chisholm were fascinating."
