Prawn cocktail and fisherman's pie were among the dishes featured on Wednesday's fundraising menu.
Fourteen sixth formers prepared and served the meal to guests in The Combe restaurant, which opens to the public for two days each week.
Adrian Fleming, hospitality subject leader, said the RNLI was an integral part of the local community and a worthwhile cause to support.
"We have two lifeboat crew members working on campus and as a community college we really feel passionate about involved ourselves in the local community," he said.
Sixth form student Leanne Candy was given the task of overseeing the event after being named as April's course student of the month.
Fellow students also did their bit by holding a cake sale in the morning, complete with cupcakes featuring the RNLI flag and gingerbread men with RNLI buttons.
