A TEENAGER was stabbed in the neck in broad daylight after a fracas in Watchet at 6.30pm on Wednesday.
Police said one young male had been assaulted and suffered a badly swollen and bruised eye, while the other was stabbed in the neck and arm.
The incident happened at the junction of Quantock Road and South Road, although officers were called to see the stabbing victim in North Croft in Williton.
A police spokesman said a screwdriver was believed to have been used to stab the 18-year-old.
Both casualties were taken to hospital for treatment but their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
