Townsfolk in Williton have been busy knitting to make comfort blankets and beat boredom during lockdown.

Each blanket has a label stating: ‘Made during the 3rd Coronavirus Lockdown in 2021. Sent with a hug from Williton.’
Croft House care home supervisor Karen Jones is pictured receiving the blankets from Cllr Dawn Lesley Howes who has co-ordinated the scheme and persuaded manufacturers to give wool.
More blankets are being made with the next batch going to Williton Hospital.
