LITTLE Vikings Nursery, at Knights Templar Church School in Watchet, finished the spring term saying goodbye to their much loved nursery manager – Rachel Baker.
Mrs Baker decided to retire after many years of commitment to the nursery, providing countless number of children with care and a quality start to their Early Years’ learning and development.
She has worked hard to build up Little Vikings into a successful nursery, respected and valued by the community in Watchet.
The day was marked with the children and the staff enjoying a tea party, and children from each class who had previously been in the nursery with Mrs Baker, joined the celebrations to present gifts and cards.
A cake was made especially for the occasion by Caroline Lovell, one of the nursery team, and the leadership of the nursery was officially handed over to Lucy Seldon who took up her role as the new nursery manager after the Easter break.
