ROBERT Collins of Watchet Boxing Club won the Western Counties final on Saturday for the second year running.

He boxed three two-minute rounds against Darren Ware of Devonport Boxing Club, producing one of his best performances to outclass his opponent in every round, with switching and phased attacks.

Ware sustained a nose bleed in the first round which needed medical attention in both the first and third rounds, and he was also given a standing count in the second round.

Robert, a student at West Somerset Community College, now boxes in the England Quarter-finals of the Schoolboy Championship on February 17 in Surrey.
