A GOOD Samaritan who came to the aid of an 86- year-old robbery victim in Watchet is being sought by police. The pensioner was walking along Whitehall at around 11.30am on Tuesday when she was approached by a young girl who attempted to rob her. Although nothing was taken, the pensioner fell to the ground, banging her head and had to be taken to hospital for treatment. But police now want to hear from a woman on a pedal cycle who stopped to help the pensioner and actually spoke to the offender. "This woman did not speak to the police but we would like her to come forward and assist with our enquiries," said a spokesman for the Avon and Somerset force. The woman is described as white, in her late 40s or early 50s and was riding a bike which had a basket on the front.
