YOUNG artists from Dulverton Middle School have been drawing on their comic talents for a legacy piece of work.

Year eight pupils have created a series of cartoon-style paintings on the subject of Space, linking in with the town's involvement with the BBC Stargazing programme earlier this year.

And as a parting gift before they move on to other schools, the pupils have made a wall hanging of the colourful artwork, which is set to be displayed in the school's foyer.
