ENTRIES have been flooding in for this year’s Dulverton Trail Fun Run and Canicross, which takes place on September 17.
The event is an opportunity for people and their dogs to run across the beautiful Exmoor National Park countryside around Dulverton.
It is now in its third year and runners of all ages and abilities are invited to enter the event, which starts and finishes on Exmoor Lawns, in front of Exmoor House next to the River Barle.

The event offers two routes of 5 km and 10 km and includes a steep woodland track that has become known as the ‘Dulverton Demon’.
Visit Dulverton spokeswoman Ali Pegrum said: “Dulverton is known to be a particularly dog-friendly town and there is the opportunity to run either the 5 km or 10 km routes as a traditional canicross race with all the fun of letting your dogs help you along the paths and up and down the hills.”
The number of entrants is restricted, so runners are advised to book their places in advance to avoid disappointment.
