THE all-conquering Minehead Barbarians Under 10 side came out on top of a four-team rugby tournament after destroying their opponents.
Thornbury, Yatton, Bishopstone and Cheltenham were all beaten convincingly in the Thornbury mini rugby festival held recently.
To top the win, David Bland and Greg Charlton were voted GT Heating players of the tournament and the team also scooped the fair play shield.
Earlier in the season, they reached the finals of the Weston Festival.
Until Sunday the side had suffered only four narrow defeats in 54 games in two seasons and had 1315 points in the bag. But in the Barbarians' own tournament they had to settle for third place after winning two and losing two of their games. Match reports appear on Page 21.
New players will be welcome for the new season which kicks off in September.
