Bhangra Band RSVP will be bringing its blend of traditional Punjabi folk music and Western musical influences to Porlock Village Hall on Saturday, October 23.
The Bristol-based band uses the universal language of music and dance to communicate across all cultures and ages, and has perormed at Glastonbury and Womad as well as Watchet Music Festival. With musicians drawn from one family, RSVP is rooted in an authentic living tradition but unafraid to innovate with emphasis on having fun and partying Punjabi-style.
Tickets are £10 from Porlock Visitor Centre or wegottickets.com/event/516569. Door and bar open from 7.30pm for 8pm start.
