Drivers in and around Somerset West and Taunton will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start this week:

A30, from 8pm June 13 to 6am June 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 20 to 31 mobile lane closures in both directions for grass cutting works.

M5, from 8pm June 13 to 6am June 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 24 to 25 lane closure for survey.

M5, from 9pm June 14 to 5am June 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 26 exit closure for emergency barrier repairs. Diversion: Continue northbound, M5, exit, junction 25 turn and re-join M5 southbound, exit at, junction 26.

M5, from 8pm June 20 to 4am July 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound and southbound, junction 31 - 20 mobile lane closures for maintenance.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
