Drivers in and around Somerset West and Taunton will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 9pm August 15 to 6am November 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 Both Directions, junction 24 to junction 26 lane closures for barrier renewal.
• A30, from 8pm October 27 2022 to 5am December 30 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 20 to 31 mobile lane closures for drainage works.
And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 8pm November 14 to 4am November 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 25 to junction 24 lane closure for drainage.
• M5, from 10pm November 23 to 5am November 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 25 exit slip road closed for electrical works, diversion via M5, exit, junction 26, turn to return northbound to junction 25.
• M5, from 10pm November 27 to 6am November 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 25 to 26 lane closures for electrical works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
