MANY hands make light work – and ten litter pickers will make it even lighter for future clean-ups in Williton. 

Williton Parish Council’s recent ‘Clean for the Queen’ was successful in clearing two badly weeded areas in Williton and Doniford.

And now Veolia Waste Management has donated ten litter pickers to Williton Parish Council which is hoping to hold quarterly clean-up days.  

Veolia staff members Scott Duffy and Nadine Bennett presented the equipment to Cllr David Kirkham outside the Williton Parish Council office. 

Cllr Kirkham thanked Veolia, on behalf of the parish council, for the assistance and support.

And he said Williton Parish Council would welcome any help local parishioners can offer at future clean-up days.
