A GROUP of people from the Forget-Me-Not Café in Watchet travelled the short way to Bossington – and to another world – thanks to Minehead Golf Club.
On a sweltering day, they arrived at the Exmoor Owl and Hawk Centre – an old house with a shady garden and behind it a large green field with trees for perches plus a stream.
They watched a display of trust and skill between man and birds, which included peregrines and owls, plus a vulture being followed around by some fearless ducks.
They then had tea and cakes in the garden (pictured).
