RED was very much the order of the day on Friday when people of all ages did their bit to "do something funny for money" and fund-raise for this year's Comic Relief appeal.
A T-shirt printathon, a giant hokey cokey dance and a sponsored beard shave all helped to raise thousands of pounds across West Somerset for Red Nose Day.
Schoolchildren were able to make a donation in return for wearing red coloured clothes or pyjamas to school, while others raised money through cake sales and fundraising challenges.
Nationally, the appeal hit a record-breaking £75 million during Friday's live televised fundraiser, with all the money due to help vulnerable people across the UK and Africa.

Staff at Old Cleeve-based Brook Food held a mini version of the popular television show Great British Bake-Off, with office and warehouse workers asked to pay £5 each to take part.
A variety of weird and wacky creations were judged by Tim Webb, the vice chairman of Old Cleeve Parish Council, with finance director Mark Dorrill named as the overall winner.
