A QUEUE formed outside The Avenue Methodist Church Hall in Minehead on Saturday morning (May 18) when Home-Start West Somerset held its annual plant sale.

The popular event raised a record-breaking £1,600-plus for the charity.

The organisers thanked those who donated and bought plants, the volunteers, trustees and friends who gave up their time to ensure the success of the sale and the Methodist Church for hosting it.

Home-Start West Somerset offers friendship and informal support to families with young children under the age of seven living in West Somerset as well as running Story-Start and Bump to Baby Sessions.
