TIMBERSCOMBE man Arthur Fuller has received the highest accolade from the Royal Air Forces Association in recognition of 30 years' dedicated service to the organisation.

Arthur was presented with a National Presidential Certificate for his dedication in serving as secretary of the Minehead branch.

A total of 20 members of the branch turned out to see Arthur receive the accolade from Air Vice Marshal Pat O'Reilly, the association's Wales, Midlands and South West area president.

The presentation at Foxes Hotel in Minehead was followed by a celebratory lunch.

The certificate was awarded in conjunction with the 2013 New Year's Honours.
