The Minehead and District Quiz League resumed play last week after an 18-month gap.  

Because some teams have lost numbers and had to disband the league has been reorganised with 30 teams in three divisions.

However there is just as much competition and fun to be enjoyed!

Pictured are the Dingdong Danglers in their pub, The Bell in Watchet , pitching against The Star Attractions, who are hoping soon to return to their home ground. 

Winners were the Dingdongs with captain Maggie Walker but The Star team (captain Bob Hornby) retaliated by winning the informal Gallon league section. Both victories were by one point only – so two well matched teams.

Anyone who would like to join a quiz team should ask at their local pub.
