Parenting questions as children as young as 11 cause trouble across West SomersetEach class had an action-packed day which included learning about the folk tale of the ‘The Gurt Wurm’, baking apple cakes, cheese and whortleberry tasting, and drinking – non-alcoholic – cider and apple juice.
They also enjoyed wassailing and meeting and learning about Exmoor ponies.
Deputy headteacher Karen Mills-Bown said: “The children and all the staff had a fantastic day and we all learned something new about our local area’s history and traditions. It was definitely a day enjoyed by all!”
