SCHOOLCHILDREN in Watchet have compiled a musical message to mark this year's Mother's Day celebrations. The Knights Templar youngsters have made their own CD featuring five favourite songs and the mass voices of every pupil. And with every one of the 100 CDs cut sold for £5 a piece, the scheme has also netted school funds a useful £250. Teacher Mavis Collinson came up with the novel way of creating the unusual and very special gift for mothers and other carers. Included in the line up of songs are Supermum, I'd Like to Build the World a Home, Starry Night, Cauliflower Fluffy and the school's own song Pause Awhile. Headteacher Alan Woollam said: "It's been a great success and very popular. "We've never done anything like this before but we thought it would be nice to try something a bit different."
