EASTER treats have just been handed out – to the winners of this year’s Home-Start West Somerset’s I Spy competition, which raised £300 for the charity.

Repairs to A396 Cutcombe Hill moved to nighttime work to avoid Snowdrop Valley clashOver 60 Minehead shops and offices took part by placing an out-of-place object in their window during the Easter school holiday.
People were challenged to identify as many out-of-place items as they could – the objects included everything from a sink plunger to a champagne bottle.
Among the prize winners were the Dalziel family, Theoni Kane, Teddy Hamblin, Chloe Nimmo, Alfie Dell, Molly Gould, Chloe, Harry and George Tuttle and Tilly Clements.
Prizes were donated by local businesses including West Somerset Railway, Butterflies, Francis James, Exmoor Teddy Bears, That Little Craft Shop, Blueberry, Excom, Roly’s Fudge Pantry and Robson and Stephens.
Home-Start West Somerset would like to thank all the businesses that provided windows, sold entry forms and donated prizes and all the I-Spyers who took the time to take part and make the competition such a success raising £300 for the charity.
