The person thought to be in charge of the dogs was described as a ‘white male, wearing a grey fleece and a blue bobble hat’.
The dogs were described as medium-sized and possibly a sandy-coloured labrador and a German shepherd.

.Mr Weedon said: “I have just witnessed a ewe being savaged by a dog.
“The police are in the field asking walkers if they have seen a man with two dogs, one a sandy brown short-haired and the other brown and white with a thicker coat.
“It was the latter which savaged the ewe, badly ripping its back legs.
“A ewe was killed last week in a similar attack.”
