SIR — I have just watched the Panorama programme which focussed on the postal service and it led me to think about the service we receive where I live in the Williton/Watchet area.

The friendliness of the postmen always brightens the day. It is not just the delivery of the post but the way it is done. Thank you.

Thanks also to those who work in our post offices. It does not seem to matter how busy they are, one is greeted in a friendly manner and made to feel that you matter.

So thank you to the friendly postmen who deliver my post to Five Bells. Maybe without them knowing it, they have cheered my day.
