I would like to congratulate Somerset County Council for the very efficient way in which Porlock Hill was resurfaced and re-marked well within the time frame aimed at.

I was informed by the man organising the traffic that they had put up over 200 “Road Closed” signs prior to the hill. He also added that drivers still
tried to climb the hill and said “we never saw the signs at all”.
