THE name of one of West Somerset’s four divisions on Somerset County Council could be about to change.

There are 54 electoral divisions in the county and the council proposing to change the name of four of them so that they better describe the area they cover.

They include Watchet and Stogursey, which would become Quantock Coast.

The public are being asked for their views on the new names in a consultation which runs until Friday May 25.
