SIR — Thank you to everyone who has responded to my request, posted on the board in the entrance to the Co-op in Minehead, for old cards to re-cycle for charity. It is very much appreciated. The finished cards are kindly sold at the Reading Rooms in Friday Street for Alzheimers Reseach UK, a registered charity in Cambridge, and to date we have raised over £500. All the spare plain and cut-off card is also recycled as it goes to the children in the reception class at Dunster First School to use for their 'cut and stick box'. Please keep your cards coming. By donating them and purchasing the reycled ones, you will be doing your bit towards researching this deadful disease. Di Lloyd, Minehead.
