WILLITON Parish Council is inviting the public to a Zoom video conference on Tuesday (June 16) to discuss plans for redevelopment of the village centre.

The extraordinary general meeting is also to discuss the proposed change of use of Mamsey House care home, in Priest Street, to four holiday units with manager’s accommodation.

The outline planning application concerns land off Bank Street with a link to Fore Street is to provide:

* A food store;

* Shops;

* Professional and financial services;

* Food and drink uses;

* Health services;

* Housing;

* vehicle and pedestrian accesses;

* Parking and landscaping.

Williton Parish Council is being consulted about the plans on an advisory basis and is happy to hear people’s views.
