Minehead & District Model Club is holding an exhibition at the Old Hospital on The Parade on Saturday, August 7, from 10.30am to 4pm.

A full range of types of model aircraft will be shown, from simple rubber-powered free flight models up to the latest radio-controlled aircraft and an aerial photography drone.

A range of scale models of aircraft dating from 1915 to the present day will also be on show.

More than planes is on offer with a selection of model boats and a 3 1/2 inch gauge working scale steam locomotive, which in the 1920s travelled from Exeter to Waterloo, among exhibits.

Entrance for adults is £2 and free for children accompanied by an adult.
