YOUNG entrepreneurs are being encouraged to apply for this year’s Exmoor Society Pinnacle Award.

The scheme aims to help them develop innovative projects, ideas, or business proposals to enable them to live and work in Greater Exmoor.

Up to £5,000 is available to successful applicants aged from 18 to 35 years who live, work, or study in the area.

Applicants should complete an online form outlining their business or ‘a brilliant idea for one based on Exmoor’, and submit it before midnight on August 31.

A spokesperson said: “This award is all about supporting young people to thrive in Exmoor, showing how beautiful landscapes and livelihoods can work together in a national park.”
