HARD work has brought a racing result for two West Somerset teenagers.
Robert Overall and Liam Brick have been picked to work at this year's final round of the World Rally Championship, which got underway in Wales yesterday (Thursday).
The pair, who are both studying BTEC Level 3 vehicle maintenance at West Somerset College, will be working as part of the service team looking after car 259 driven by Somerset's Chris Hellings and co-driver Glynn Thomas.
The MG ZR 1.4 rally car will be put through its paces during the gruelling three-day event, designed to test both man and machine.

The car has been worked on at the college's motor vehicle workshop at various times throughout the season and when tutor Chris Wright was asked to provide two students to help at the rally he chose Robert and Liam because of the effort they had put into their work during the year.
Chris will be accompanying the students, having last attended the event in 2004 when he was team manager of the Factory Works MG Rover team.
"It's great that the driver and co-driver are supporting the college in this way by providing two of our students with such a fantastic opportunity," he said.
And Liam said: "I am really looking forward to it - it will be great for my course and I am considering working in motor racing in the future so it will be good experience."
