OVER 120 visitors voted for their favourite in the annual photography competition held at Watchet Methodist Church.

The event raised £200 to help maintain the building, which is used every day by members of the community.

Winner of the category with the theme ‘transport’ was Cherrie Temple for her ‘Barge on the Canal’, while second prize went to Bob Cramp’s ‘Coach Crossing a River’, and Dave Messenger’s photo ‘Horse-drawn Barge’ came third.

In the open section, Peter Mather came first with ‘Rainbow Behind Watchet Lighthouse’, Leanna Coles was second with ‘Flower Meadow’, and third prize went to Leanna Coles for ‘Robbers Bridge’.

And Poppy Boulton won the under 16s section with ‘Sheep Under the Trees’.
