SIR — As the family of Tim Chilcott, for the last six years we have remembered him by placing flowers at the spot in Blenheim Road where he was attacked and passed away.
This year we put flowers on the lamp post so that they were not in anyone's way, but for some reason they were removed after only two days.
We don't know who did this or why, but we think this was very disrespectful. We ourselves would have removed them after a week.
The flowers are our way of coping with our loss and remembering Tim, and we only hope that whoever did this never has to experience what we have.
