Police warning as aggressive rogue trader invades home of elderly Minehead residents
Spring clean beach litter pick being organised by Minehead Town Council As there is a historical basis for the current situation - the property used to belong to the Wyndham Estate - we are loath to see changes being made, merely to 'tidy up' the parish map.
Although we vote in Washford, everything else we do is focussed on Williton - and we would like it to stay that way. Maintaining the status quo would make no difference to, nor offer any benefits to, either ourselves, or the two parishes concerned.
I note that some Sampford Brett residents don't want to be hijacked and forced to become residents of Williton parish. Whilst respecting their wishes, we are quite adamant that we would like to remain in Williton parish, and have no wish to become 'tidied up' - and in the process, diffusing our links with the past. hereby invoke the Falkland Spirit, albeit with a minor twist!
David Chadwick,
Washford.
