MINEHEAD Hospital patients will be able to have a more soothing time on Exmoor ward thanks to volunteer Nina Huyshe.

As she celebrated her birthday, she thought about the wellbeing of the patients and purchased a new stereo system to be used in the ward’s day room.

It has FM radio, a DC player and is Bluetooth compatible, allowing the patients to listen to any music they choose and helping to create a positive and relaxing atmosphere.    

Sister Hayley Welsh said she and her colleagues were overwhelmed by Nina’s generosity.
