TIMBERSCOMBE School is opening its doors to children as young as two for early years education.
Little Oaks will be run by a qualified teacher and offers sessional care from Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm.
A breakfast club is available from 8.15am, although earlier start times are available on request, and a range of after school clubs are offered to provude care until 5pm.
Senior teacher Hannah Sparks said: “Our children benefit from a well-resourced indoor provision and enjoy free flow into our safe and exciting outdoor play space.
“We put great emphasis on the value of outdoor education and have our own ‘explorers classroom’ set in a natural environment, where the children can explore and engage with their surroundings.
“As a village school, we can offer high staff-to-child ratios, ensuring the children receive lots of attention in small groups.
“Emotional wellbeing is a top priority for our children and we offer a range of activities which focus on this aspect of development.
“We work closely with our reception and key stage one class which provides a smooth transition into school.”
