A SERVICE to help vulnerable people who have problems keeping a roof over their heads is being supported by all of the area's main housing associations.
The Floating Support scheme is part of a Government initiative, which aims to give advice on housing-related issues, managing finances, employment opportunities and independent living skills.
It is aimed mainly at vulnerable families, teenage parents, young and homeless people and those living in sheltered accommodation.
Support is provided by specialist workers from Knightstone and Stonham housing associations, together with other agencies, while promotional help is being given by Magna West Somerset Housing Association.
