The new owners of Croydon Hall claim that they are creating a “Disney Land for adults” (Free Press January 18).

Bearing in mind that West Somerset has the largest number of state pensioners in the UK, if people don’t like the idea of what Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs might be getting up to, there is a simple remedy.

The sight of a very long queue of local residents outside, some with walking aids etc, all eager to join (and confident they would not be subjected to ageist discrimination), could have quite a negative impact on potential “swingers” from elsewhere.
