PICTURED are Danesfield Middle School's junior boys' cross country team, who travelled to Buckinghamshire at the weekend for the English Schools Cup.
They are, clockwise from centre front, Luke Eggar, Jason Strong, Peter Baker, Callum Knight, David Hollier and Darren Gamblin.
It was only the second year the Williton school has ever qualified for the finals, and the boys were one of only two teams from Somerset representing the South West - Millfield School was the other.
In all 138 runners made up 24 teams for the race at Stowe School and Danesfield finished 18th.
Peter led the team home in 25th place overall, followed by Jason 53rd, Callum 82nd, David 93rd and Luke 96th. Unfortunately for Darren, he had to pull out injured.
Louise Greswell, a delighted chairman of the school's governors, said: Sporting success at Danesfield goes from strength to strength.
"This is the third national final that the school has been in this year.
"It demonstrates that if pupils want to compete at the highest level then Danesfield is the school for them."
