A SPEECH and language therapy practitioner who has been instrumental in setting up pioneering services at Williton Hospital has won a national award.

Laura Codrington, who works for Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, has been recognised in the 2015 Advancing Healthcare Awards for her work to ensure that stroke patients receive more intensive therapy and communication support.
