An all-weather open air concert being performed by The Pleasure Dome Theatre Company, accompanied by Friends in Harmony, will be held on Porlock Recreation Ground on Saturday (July 17).

The programme includes works by composers such as Mozart (Cosi Fan Tutte), Finzi (No More Heat of the Sun), Puccini (Vissi d’arte and Madame Butterfly) and Handel (Trumpet Shall Sound, Messiah) among other classics. 

Friends in Harmony will be performing popular classics such as songs from The Sound of Music, You’ll Never Walk Alone, Let It Be Me and The Prayer, to name a few. 

‘An Evening of Summer Song – Unity and Healing’ features soloists Mari Wyn Williams, Edwin Dizer, Dean Parker, Helena Payne and Stephanie Berner.

The concert, presented by Pleasure Dome Theatre Company together with Porlock Visitor Centre, is from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Audiences should take their own seating and, if they wish, picnics.
