BRIDGWATER and West Somerset MP Ian Liddell-Grainger is planning a 52-mile sponsored walk right across his constituency in September.
He will walk from County Gate, beyond Porlock to Piper's Inn, Ashcott, in three legs on September 10, 11 and 12 to raise funds for two charities - BIBIC and the Dyslexia Institute.
Bridgwater based BIBIC - the British Institute for Brain Injured Children - is sponsoring the Year of the Autistic Child.
The Dyslexia Institute, although based in the South East, covers the whole of the UK, as does BIBIC.

"We all know someone who has a connection with autism, whether they are friends of friends or someone closer.
"And throughout our lives we all come in contact with children with special needs and people with dyslexia.
"I am trying to raise awareness and money for the two charities, both of which help many hundreds of children a year to lead fulfilling lives."
He added; "I would be delighted if people wished to join me along stretches of the walk, but not on roads where a group of walkers might cause a hazard."
Sponsorship forms will be sent to various outlets. Anyone else wishing to sponsor Mr Liddell-Grainger is asked to contact the constituency office at 16 Northgate, Bridgwater TA6 3EU.
