This bank holiday Sunday, as local residents, we looked forward to a peaceful morning walk around Minehead Quay West . This was not to be!

The whole area was being used by about a dozen overnight camper vans, with their occupants busy “frying up” sprawled on loungers and children milling around enjoying the free overnight stay.

I believe WSC have designated this a no overnight parking area?

Has the Quay car park now become a travellers’ camp? It looked appalling!
