A NEW freezer has been acquired by Wiveliscombe-based community food project Wivey Kitchen Pantry, and installed in the town’s St Andrew’s Church.

The charity, launched in November, has more than 25 members and also has a freezer in St Michaels’Church, Milverton.

Members join for six months and pay a £5 weekly fee for which they receive food valued at up to £25.
