SUNSHINE and an increase in entries made this year's Bicknoller Flower Show as successful as ever.
The judges were impressed by the high standard of exhibits as well as by the number which increased to 677 this year.
Watchet Town Band and the Quantock Hillbillies line dancers added to the happy atmosphere and helped the whole event turn into a village celebration.
King of the vegetable garden was Sid Dunscombe, and among others to go home weighed down with prizes was Maggie Pumphrey who won no fewer than five trophies.
