THE latest round of ‘carrier bag’ money from Tesco Minehead saw three deserving local causes receive funding for their projects. 

Exmoor Search and Rescue received £4,000 for new digital radios to help in rescue missions.

Minehead Eye got £2,000 for its café, and Crowcombe and Stogumber Primary and Pre-school PTA was given £1,000. 

Any non-profit organisations/charities that would like to benefit from the Bags of Help scheme should visit www.tesco.com/bagsofhelp and fill out the ‘Groundwork’ application form.
