OFF-duty staff at Eastleigh Care Home in Minehead made a special effort to go in to work on Tuesday – to wish Molly Laing a happy 105th birthday.
They also baked a celebratory cake for Molly, who has lived at the home for four years.
“She’s very special,” said a member of the activity team, which organised the celebration.
A mother of two with five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, Molly moved to Eastleigh to live near her daughter Philippa and son-in-law in Luccombe.
Her son Andrew lives with his wife in Australia and visits Molly each year.
Molly’s story is in the Free Press
